Privacy Policy
Forge It Agency · forgeit.agency · Last updated September 7, 2026
This policy explains what forgeit.agency collects when you visit it, why, and what you can do about it. The website is operated by Sim Tec MD Inc. under its registered trade name Forge Marketing Platform, from 223048 Township Rd 84, Lethbridge County, Alberta, Canada. In this document “we” and “us” mean that company.
It covers this marketing website and the landing pages we serve under it. The Forge platform application at app.forgeit.agency is a separate product with its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which cover signed-in accounts and the QuickBooks Online integration. Neither document replaces the other.
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
1. What we collect
Information you type in
Our contact and enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, company name, and your message. Some landing pages add a few qualifying questions about your business. If you book a consultation, we also record the time slot you chose and the contact details you gave for the invitation.
Every one of those fields is optional in the sense that you can simply not use the form. We do not require an account, and there is nothing on this site you need to register for.
How you used the page
We record our own measurements of how visitors use our pages, so we can tell which pages work and which advertising is worth paying for. What gets recorded is a fixed list of named events — page view, scroll depth, which section came into view, which frequently-asked question was opened, which button or phone number was clicked, when a form was opened, started, errored, abandoned or submitted, and the steps of a booking.
An event is a name, a short label such as a section or button id, and a number. We do not record the contents of form fields, and we do not capture what you type. There is no session-replay tooling on this site, no keystroke logging, and no screen recording.
To join those events into a single visit, your browser stores two random identifiers: one for the current visit (in sessionStorage, discarded when you close the tab) and one that recognises a returning device (in localStorage). They are meaningless strings. They are ours alone, are not shared, and cannot follow you to any other company’s website.
How you arrived
We read campaign and click parameters from the page address when they are present — utm_source and its relatives, gclid, gbraid, wbraid (Google) and fbclid(Meta) — along with the referring website. This is how an enquiry gets attributed to the advertisement that produced it.
Technical information
Like any website, our hosting receives your IP address, browser and device type, and the time of each request, and keeps short-lived logs for security and diagnostics.
2. Advertising and measurement tags
Every page of this site loads the Google tag for our Google Ads account, which is how we measure whether our advertising produces enquiries. Individual landing pages may additionally load Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, depending on the campaign that page belongs to.
Where the Meta Pixel is present it sets its own cookies (_fbp and _fbc). When you submit a form on such a page, we read those cookies and send them, with the submission, to Meta so the conversion can be matched to the advertisement click. We send the same conversion from your browser and from our server with a shared identifier so it is counted once rather than twice.
Hashed contact details for conversion matching
When you submit a form, the Google tag may take the name, email address and phone number you entered, convert them into an irreversible hash inside your browser, and send only that hash to Google to match your enquiry to the advertisement click. Google calls this Enhanced Conversions. The plain-text values are not sent to Google by this mechanism.
Google and Meta are independent companies that handle this data under their own policies, which we do not control. Their handling is described at policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
- To contact you about that enquiry — by email, telephone, or text message — using the details you gave us for that purpose.
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you about a consultation you booked.
- To measure which pages and which advertisements produce enquiries, and to improve them.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal obligations.
When you send us an enquiry you are asking us to get in touch, and we treat that as your consent to reply through the channels you provided. You can withdraw it at any time — see your choicesbelow — and every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
5. Landing pages we run for clients
Some pages served under this domain are marketing pages we build and operate on behalf of our clients. They carry the client’s branding and offer. When you submit a form on one of those pages, your enquiry is collected on that client’s behalf and passed to them, and their own privacy practices apply to what they do with it afterwards. We handle it as their service provider, and under this policy while it is with us.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact with you, and afterwards for as long as we have a legitimate business reason — typically to honour a quote, to meet a legal or tax obligation, or to respect an unsubscribe request, which we must retain in order to keep honouring it. Behaviour and advertising measurements are kept in aggregated form; the per-visit detail is short-lived and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time.
7. Your choices
Turn off our behaviour measurement
Add ?nolog=1to any page address on this site — for example https://forgeit.agency/?nolog=1— and we will stop recording behaviour events on that device. The setting is remembered, so it keeps applying on later visits without the parameter. Use ?nolog=0 to turn it back on.
Advertising cookies
Your browser can block or clear cookies and site storage, which stops the advertising tags from recognising your device. You can also opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and manage Meta’s settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
Stop hearing from us
Reply to any message asking us to stop, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email info@forgeit.agency. We act on it promptly.
8. Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Depending on where you live, other laws may give you further rights, and we will honour those that apply.
Write to info@forgeit.agency. We will respond within thirty days. There is no charge, and we may need to confirm who you are before releasing information. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Where your information is held
We are a Canadian company, but our hosting and advertising providers operate globally, so your information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries and may be accessible to their courts and authorities under local law. We use providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for that transfer.
10. Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections, form submissions travel over HTTPS, and access to the systems holding enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we maintain procedures to detect and respond to incidents and will notify affected people and regulators where the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted there. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies to you.
